pet portrait of spaniel

I've managed to get a bit more done to Bodie's pet portrait, and now his face is slowly beginning to appear. I'm really taken with drafting film now as this portrait seems to be working out quite well and so hopefully with more practice I should get even better!
Not much else to report really except our final cayuga duckling hatched, 6 from 6 eggs, very very good going I think, and we are hoping the pheasant eggs will hatch around about Friday, so fingers crossed. Other than that Willow and myself went back to work today after a week's holiday, and it was really a bit too hot to be bashing the bark from trees but unfortunately it had to be done, plus I had a minor dilema when my other half forgot to put a tea bag in my flask and left me with just hot water and a splash of milk. Due to the nature of our job we don't have any access to shops, kettles or tea bags for that matter and I did have a bit of a temper tantrum over it! What not tea!?!?! He wasn't sacked though and will do better tomorrow I'm sure!

Really lovely piece Karie. What brand of pencils do you use on the drafting film? Been considering it myself. :)

I think your work on drafting film is wonderful! I love how the dog is taking form.

Thanks for the comments all of you, in answer to your question Melody I am using derwent artists and prismacolor as they are much less waxy on drafting film than derwent coloursoft. I don't have any sort of collection of prismacolors so if I decide to carry on with drafting film I may just have to go shopping!
