Dog Portraits, Oakley
I've added a few more layers to Oakley's portrait, and it has been more than a few really, for some reason it's taking ages to get anywhere on this portrait, perhaps it's all that fluffy fur he has!!!
Just a little pic from a wood pile of a hornets nest we found at work. Hornets are protected as they are less common by a long way than they used to be but they suffer from an enormous amount of discrimination as people tend to believe they are wasps or as likely to sting as wasps. This however is not the case, this nest was inside the hollow of a log and they were so unconcerned about me they simply flitted about as I peered down inside with my lens. Not one sting!!!!

Yep, he has a very dense coat doesn't he? But you're doing really well with him and I'm sure he's going to be fantastic when finished
