Dog portrait, Patton the rottweiler
Well it's been a good day for me, there was too much snow to get onto the main road about a mile away so it was a day at home, yippee do. Willow, Zac and I all went for a walk to the lovely named Kettle Bottom down past the edge of the garden (see my new header image which I saved straight away), I took lots of photos and even captured a buzzard sat on the telegraph pole in the bottom orchard but when I put my sd card into the computer it said I needed to format it which stupidly I agreed to without thinking and I've lost all of my images on the card. Aaargh, I'm so annoyed, it's happened before and if I don't format I can still see the images anyway. Big thumbs, big fingers, big sulk. To calm my temper I put the finishing touches to Patton the rottweiler at the water's edge as you can see above.
If you like my work please take the time to leave me a comment or become a follower (see bottom of page). If you would like to win a pet portrait of your dog, cat, horse or any other pet please see my new competition. It costs nothing to enter, all you require is internet access.
If you are interested in commissioning me please visit my pet portrait artist website or my wildlife artist website
Thanks for visiting!

Beautiful job!!!! I love the way you make their fur shine!!! Love him!!!! Sarah
Thanks Sarah, this one seems to have been ongoing for a long time as I stopped to do the snow leopards half way through! I'm really pleased with the rocks on this one.
Hi Nancy, I can take credit for the art so thank you very much for your comments, however as for my blog layout I'm afraid I really am a novice, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of my blog you can visit the site where I borrowed the template from and use one yourself!
I agree, your blog layout is great. And Patton is looking so strong and handsome. I really look forward to watching the progress!
Wonderful! So much detail!
Sorry about your SD card. I hate when that happens. Love your Rotty though. It's magnificent.
Very Nice!
Beautiful drawing of Patton! I've been honored enough to meet Patton and he's just a darling!
