Pet Portraits and Wildlife Art

Well I had to give up waiting for decent light to take a photo of this latest dog portrait. As you can see I caught a bit of reflection on the right hand side but after quite a few attempts I had to leave it as it is, and I think this is probably as good as it gets with the weather at the moment and the dark miserable evenings (I do hate winter so much)

This is Beamer, a 12 year old black and white cocker spaniel who is curretnly a magnificent 12 years old and much loved by his Mum. Isn't he beautiful with those big sad cocker eyes. I'm now just waiting to mount the portrait and then this one too will be sent in plenty of time for Christmas delivery.

We have had really cold weather here over the last couple of days and are expecting a bit of snow overnight so thankfully we've lit the front room fire and it's like a sauna at the moment, I'm not going back outside for anything apart from putting the animals to bed, an evening to be spent burning my toes in the grate I think!!!
